THE SCIENTIFIC BOARD
The experience of those who experience the challenges of Industrial Operations every day
The course was conceived and designed by managers and entrepreneurs with extensive experience in the operations field, gained within SMEs and multinationals operating in various sectors. The criterion of on-field experience has also guided the choice of teachers and business realities proposed as examples for one or more specific aspects of operations.
Therefore, INDUSTRIAL MAKERS focuses on a highly-experiencial training method: every theoretical or methodological aspect is taught, above all, from the point of view of those who experienced it. From this stems the idea to explore the gemba, the heart of production and logistics of a company, and to see first-hand the skillful and constantly evolving balance of efficiency, quality and economy, through organizational, educational and technological ways.
Both the scientific board and the teachers have equally contributed to building realities strongly oriented towards the objective of every operations manager: transforming this vast and articulated business field in a decisive factor in competitiveness.
"If you can’t describe what you are doing as a process, you don’t know what you’re doing."
(W. Edwards Deming)
